Sylver(Fox) started out as a mascot, until I decided it would be fun if people could adopt a little virtual fox to take care of. Rather than having people adopt merely an image, I thought it would be much more fun if people could actually ‘do’ something with their fox. And so, as of 2009, it was made possible for people to adopt a fox of their choice and play with it, feed it, do quests and dress up their own avatar.
Unfortunately in 2014, SylverFox.net was "temporarily" shut down, with the full intention to improve the code and restart. So far, I have not yet had the time to work on it. But it remains a virtual pet site project I want to revive.
