90's and 00's Music
I have to admit, I haven't been exploring new music as much since they pulled MTV Europe off of the television, along with The Box and TMF. Until then, I was practically glued to the TV, watching mostly MTV Europe non-stop. Cat Deeley's UK HitList, MTV Select with Thomas Madvig, the European Top 20 with Eden Harel - I loved it all!
Throughout high school in the early 00s, I did still explore the latest hits. We also got an internet connection and I was also able to discover more music through programs such as Napster, Limewire, Kazaa and WinMX. ;3 Plus, of course, I exchanged mp3s with friends on MSN!
Here is a list of my favorite 90s and early 00s music:
I discovered Hollywood Undead through a nightcore edit back in 2017. I enjoyed both Dead Bite and Dead in Ditches. Then I randomly decided to check out the original version of the songs, and gradually started liking the music more and more. Soon, I figured out that I actually liked the majority of the songs by Hollywood Undead! I explored several albums and kept adding more and more songs to my favorites.
Yeah, I found out about Hollywood Undead after Danny joined. Even though I initially stumbled upon songs with Deuce in them. I'm not gonna pick a side - I love the songs with Deuce in them as much as I love the songs with Danny. In fact, Danny's parts are my favorites in most songs, along with J3T's and J-Dog's. Don't get me wrong - I have ZERO dislike for any of the band members. I think they all work really well together and they clearly have a good grasp of which voices work well together or in what order.
Fall Out BoyUnfortunately, I'm not quite sure how I found out about Fall Out Boy, but I know it was around the time I found out about Hollywood Undead. Perhaps a nightcore video, perhaps I just clicked around on the recommended videos. Either way, I first discovered The Phoenix, My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark and Centuries and I really liked them! No, seriously. I REALLY liked them. I've been listening to Fall Out Boy as much as I've been listening to Hollywood Undead by now. But I didn't explore their songs as much at first. It was actually in 2019 when I was in an airplane to the Philippines that I decided to check out their album MANIA. Man. I spent practically the entire plane ride with that album on repeat. I especially love Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea, The Last of the Real Ones, Hold Me Tight or Don't and Young and Menace. But trust me, I'll listen to the entire album without complaining.
